In the late twenties, Artur Szalatnai designed an addition to a romantic middle-eastern style Hammam bath facility (by Prague architect Frantisek Schmoranz, dated 1888), in the spirit of loosean purism.

The structure, which was named Sina, encompassed a hall with a pool and shower stalls. The interior has been unified with ceramic tile cladding. The ceiling of the main space rises into a ventilation skylight. The only facade of the building otherwise wedged in between adjacent buildings has been intentionally put in contrast with fine and picturesque facade of the Hammam - it is represented by a plain brick wall with a large, soberly divided window. The architect has deliberately avoided aesthetic refinement and focused on the functional and technical aspects of construction instead, nevertheless he did not deny his sense of impressive monumentality.
