Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) is the primary railway station in Warsaw, Poland. Designed by architect Arseniusz Romanowicz, its construction began in 1972 and was completed in 1975. The station, located on the Warsaw Cross-City Line, features four underground island platforms with eight tracks in total and is served by the long-distance domestic and international trains.

The station was one of the most promiment postwar modernism contstruction in Warsaw of its time and thanks to its functional and easthetic features it was considered as one of the most modern and railway stations in Europe.

Central Railway Station constitutes the core part of the cross-city train line designed by a single group of two architects Arseniusz Romanowicz and Piotr Szymaniak. Together with 4 other stations (Ochota, Powiśle, Śródmieście and Stadium) Central Railway Station creates a unique architectural development, that recently carefully renovated is still in use and perfectly serves its function.
